Description
LG LT700P Refrigerator Water Filter (ADQ36006101 / ADQ36006102)
Product Description
The LG LT700P is a widely used replacement water filter designed for LG French door, four-door, and select side-by-side refrigerators manufactured from approximately 2010 to 2016. Certified by NSF International to Standards 42 and 53, this filter delivers clean, fresh-tasting water and ice by reducing chlorine taste, odor, sediment, particulates, and other common contaminants found in tap water.
The LT700P features a unique push-up locking installation mechanism — unlike most LG filters that use a standard quarter-turn twist. The filter housing is typically located in the upper right area of the refrigerator compartment. It should be replaced every 6 months for optimal performance, and your LG refrigerator's control panel will display an indicator when it's time.

Compatibility Tip: The LT700P is the standard filter for LG French door, four-door, and counter-depth refrigerators made from approximately 2010 to 2016. To be certain you have the right filter, check the part number on your currently installed filter. If your refrigerator was made after 2016 and uses a filter in the upper right corner, it may require the LT1000P instead — always verify by checking your current filter's label.

Installation Instructions
- Locate the Filter Housing: The filter housing is located in the upper right corner inside the refrigerator compartment, behind a hinged cover. Lower the filter housing cover to expose the filter
- Remove Old Filter: Pull the old filter straight downward until it releases from the filter receptor, then pull it out horizontally
- Prepare New Filter: Remove the protective cap from the end of the new cartridge
- Align the Filter: With the filter's two top notches in the horizontal position, align the filter with the filter receptor

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I know if my LG refrigerator uses the LT700P and not another LG filter?
Check the part number printed on your current filter. If it reads LT700P, ADQ36006101, or ADQ36006102, this is the correct replacement. The LT700P is the standard filter for most LG French door refrigerators manufactured between approximately 2010 and 2016. If your refrigerator was made after 2016, it may use the LT1000P instead — always verify by checking your current installed filter's label.
Are LT700P, LT700PC, and LT700PCS the same filter?
Yes. LT700P, LT700PC, and LT700PCS are all the same filter. The letter suffixes indicate minor packaging or color variations rather than different products. All are fully interchangeable and fit the same refrigerator models.
The LT700P installation seems different from other LG filters — how does it install?
Yes, the LT700P uses a unique push-up locking mechanism rather than the standard quarter-turn twist found on most LG filters. To install: align the filter horizontally and push it into the receptor, then lift upward until it locks. To remove: pull the filter straight downward to release, then pull it out horizontally. Do not attempt to twist the LT700P as this can damage the filter housing.
Is the LT700P compatible with Kenmore refrigerators?
Yes. Select Kenmore refrigerators sharing LG's manufacturing platform use the LT700P under Kenmore part numbers 46-9690, 9690, and 469690. Check the label on your current Kenmore filter to confirm before ordering.
Where is the LT700P filter located in my refrigerator?
The LT700P filter is located in the upper right area of the refrigerator compartment behind a hinged cover. Lower the cover to access the filter housing. This is different from the standard location in some LG models where the filter is simply exposed without a cover.
