Installation Instructions

1. Locate the Filter: The filter housing is typically located in the top right corner inside your refrigerator
2. Remove Old Filter: Twist the old filter counterclockwise (left) approximately 1/4 turn to unlock it, then pull straight out. A small amount of water may drip — this is normal
3. Prepare New Filter: Remove the protective cap from the new filter. Do not remove any seals or o-rings
4. Install New Filter: Align the new filter with the filter housing. Push the filter straight in, then twist clockwise (right) approximately 1/4 turn until it locks into place
5. Flush the System: Run water through the dispenser for 5 minutes to flush out air and activate the carbon block. The water may appear cloudy at first — this is normal
6. Discard Initial Ice: Throw away all ice cubes produced in the first 24 hours after installation
7. Reset Filter Indicator: If your refrigerator has a filter indicator light, press and hold the reset button until the light changes

Can I use UltraClarity Standard instead of this filter?
