The Bosch UltraClarity refrigerator water filter (REPLFLTR10/BORPLFTR10) is designed for select Bosch Evolution series refrigerators and older models. Installation Instructions

1. Locate the Filter: The filter housing is typically located in the top right corner inside your refrigerator
2. Remove Old Filter: Twist the old filter counterclockwise (left) approximately 1/4 turn to unlock it, then pull straight out. A small amount of water may drip — this is normal
3. Prepare New Filter: Remove the protective cap from the new filter. Do not remove any seals or o-rings
4. Install New Filter: Align the new filter with the filter housing. Push the filter straight in, then twist clockwise (right) approximately 1/4 turn until it locks into place
5. Flush the System: Run water through the dispenser for 3-5 minutes to flush out air and activate the carbon block. The water may appear cloudy at first — this is normal
6. Discard Initial Ice: Throw away all ice cubes produced in the first 24 hours after installation
7. Reset Filter Indicator: If your refrigerator has a filter indicator light, press and hold the reset button until the light changes

How do I know if I need UltraClarity or UltraClarity Pro?

Check the part number on your current filter. If it says BORPLFTR10, REPLFLTR10, BORPLFTR30, REPLFLTR30, or 644845, you need this UltraClarity filter. If it says BORPLFTR50, BORPLFTR55, or 11032531, you need UltraClarity Pro instead.

Can I use UltraClarity Pro instead of this filter?

No. The UltraClarity Standard and UltraClarity Pro filters have completely different physical shapes, sizes, and designs. They are manufactured for different filter housing types and are not interchangeable in any way. UltraClarity Pro will not physically fit into refrigerators designed for UltraClarity Standard, and vice versa. You must use the filter type your refrigerator was designed for.

What happens if I try to use the wrong filter?

The wrong filter model will not physically fit into your filter housing. UltraClarity Standard and UltraClarity Pro have different shapes and connection mechanisms — attempting to force the wrong filter can damage your refrigerator's filter housing. Each refrigerator model is designed for a specific filter type, and only that exact filter will fit properly.
